Applicants:

- should be PhD students, Master’s degree students, research assistants or postdoctoral fellows working in the field of biomolecular scineces

- a short CV (1 page)

All applications will be considered by Organizing Committee and applicants will receive an answer by   December 15, 2008. Number of students is restricted to 16.

Registration fee of the course is 695 euros. This covers:

• accommodation in Kyiv ( January 25 - February 1, 2009)
• meals
• social events
• course materials

No payment should be made when applying for the course

FEBS Youth Travel Fund  Grants

PhD students and post-docs within five years of obtaining a Ph.D residing outside of Ukraine can apply for a YTF grant.

The FEBS Youth Travel Fund Grants (YTF) covers the registration fee and travel costs for selected applicants.

Please, specify in the registration form if you intent to apply for the YTF grant.

Along with notification of acceptance to attend the course (in December), participants who meet these conditions will receive a YTF application form to fill out and return to the FEBS treasurer. Travel details and costs should be included. The amount of the YTF award will be related to the distance from the applicant’s place of work to the venue of the Advanced Course

Awards will only be made to persons who not have already received a YTF grant in the current year.

In total 15 FEBS Youth travel fund grants are available for this course.
